CASE STUDY: LAPTOP COMPUTERS FOR HARSH ENVIRONMENTS
PROBLEM: Customer needed a supplier in China who could manage, manufacture and assemble a laptop line for one of the largest computer maker's in the world. FES was required to adhere to a very tight production and delivery schedule in order to guarantee success.
SOLUTION: The FES team performed all acts necessary to ensure that each line on the Bill of Materials was completed to exact specifications. In addition, we hit the production schedules as needed to ensure no disruptions occurred in the supply chain.
RESULTS: FES is currently working on the third laptop design from this customer, jointly exploring new materials and processes that will ensure continued success.
